Just put a couple of feather dusters in my tank. Almost immediatly a cleaner shrimp ran out and started messing with one. The other had come out of its "shell/tube" and is now missing

......(edit shrimps ate him) and there were 5 crabs and as hrimp all over the other. I seperated the one that is left. ***.....I am so ready to get rid of every crab I have.

Hey, most crabs & some shrimp are predators and tube worms are just a tasty hunks of flesh to them. Come to think of it, most things are tasty hunks of flesh to crabs..... they're fun to watch but definitely not harmless.

I had the same problem with one feather duster and my big yellow tang, he bit a hole in the side of the tube and the worm came out and either was eat or is somewhere in the sand, have two other dusters that I had to lodge the tub part behind some rock to prevent this from happening again, no problem now
