I have a small male and a 6 inch female blue throat in a 75g and was wanting to pick up a crosshatch. I'm not sure if they will work in a tank that small or not?

I am setting up a 180g but that is still another 2 months out.

I would recommend a bigger tank. Most of the planktivorous triggers do not do well in small tanks. They feed on pellagic plankton in the wild ... this diet is very hard to duplicate in captivity, especially in a small tank.

In terms of aggression you probably will not see much, but in terms of the tank being able to meet their swimming and dietary needs... that is where the problem lies.

Ok I'll probably wait until the 180g is up.
