name these wrasses

can anyone give me a name on these types of wrasses and any info on them.

Im almost positive the first one is a Formosan Coris
Max length=23.6in
minimum aqarium size 135gals
NOT Recommended to be reef safe EATS almost anything (snails, crabs, mullusks, shrimps) and will flip over corals and rock.

the second one i have no idea.

The second fish is a Parrotfish. ;)

2. by looking at the mouth i would say a Parrot Fish as well. im not sure of the exact species though.

Second one is a "princess parrotfish" to be precise.

They're a little tricky to care for, and need tons of LR with lots of corraline on them to survive. They won't just scrape off the coralline, they'll take whole chunks of the rock off with their beaks.

Then an hour later, they poop power-fine sand.

They also will feel confined in smaller tanks, they need room to move around and graze. Mines in a 75g, and I think he feels a little confined, pacing at the glass at times. I'm upgrading to a larger tank in the next year.

I've coaxed mine into eating the plaster of paris vacation feeder blocks. Since that he's learned to like about anything I feed the tank, mysis, flakes, brine, etc.

They're mostly reef safe, except for stony corals. They'll nibble at their bases to get the to rock. I've seen him wipe out small leather corals that were attached to new LR purchases in no time. He doesn't bother my polyp-varieties at all. Shrooms, star polyps, xenias, etc.

They're quite peaceful.

The princess variety are little smaller than the others, reaching a max size of 13" in captivity. Mine's about 8 to 9" long.

Also, they sleep in a cocoon bubble at night. Very cool to see, but sometimes messy the next morning when its floating around the tank, sticking to whatever it touches.
