I have a 40 breeder that have the following fish, Yellow Watchman, Bi-color Blennie, Purple Firefish, Ture Percula Clownfish, and a few corals. I would like to if I could add a Whipfin Fairy Warsse, and a Lubbock Warsse. Will they all get along?

Can you post a link for those fish? I'll take a look in my reference books. If the wrasses look similar, I wouldn't risk it.

Very pretty fish!

I'd probably be hesitant to keep both fish in a 40g tank, but it might work.

With both of them being Fairy Wrasse I'm afraid that they might not get along with each other. Both of them look so pretty in person that I can't decide which one to get, that why I wanted to know if it was ok to get both.

Tough choice! But they're both very pretty.

This might be the rule. One wrasse per tank. If you have a
200 or more with lots of rock might be ok. Wrasse take
away the WRE is what they are, but fun. I have a 6 line
in with a watchman diamond and bi color they get along
just fine. However talk about a party foul ba bam the 6 line
is game killer no one likes it. Even the cleaner shrimp tell it
get lost. Not to aggressive toward other fish. Easy maint.
The ones you want I dont know about. Marine Depot has a nice sec.on fish compatabilty (chart ).

I'm not sure if you saw this article that was just publised in Reefkeeping Magazine for August : Flasher Wrasses (http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2006-08/ht/index.php)

I know that it is mainly about Flasher wrasses but in the beginning of the article and then end it discusses that they are very closely related and their care in the marine aquarium and compatability are closely related. Hope this helps a little. There is also another article in past online magazine on Reefkeeping that discusses wrasses more generally and their compatability with each other and other fish.
