I just got this expensive unite ( Red Sea AquaZone Plus) I hooked it up for a test run...and my ORP reading in my tank is always at zero. There is no milli volt reading at all?????

Can anyone help me with this? Is this unite defective or the proble is bad ????

1 - be sure the probe is connected

2 - be sure the display selector switch is on ORPmv not mg per hour or ORP set point. I think you want it all the way to the right to read Orp.

3- be sure it is under warranty. Might be a bad probe or something. Your tank doesn't have 0 orp.

You probably did 1 and 2 already, but gotta be sure. Good Luck

I had one of these and had nothing but problems. I bought the aquamedic with the pinpoint monitor and have been pleased. having said that you do need to move the swith over to the far right. I am sure as said above you have the switch over to the left and need to adjust the amount of ozone you are infusing

.

I did all of the above and follwed all instructions from REd Sea.

my settings for ozone is 25 mg/hr, and my ORP is at 300 mv and when switched to my ORP reading I get zero....

It's brand new ...I think this unite may be defective?????????

thanks all.
