Here is my custom Oceanic 140g. The dimensions of the tank are 48"x24"x29" (LxWxH). It was designed to be viewable from 3 sides as a peninsula, so it has one large overflow on the right side

I created the stand with a frame made of 2x4s and 2x6s. It's still missing doors, but I hope to finish those within the next few weeks.

Here's underneath the tank. There is no plywood bottom.

Here is the semi-completed project. There are still things that need to be bought.. equipment and livestock.

I got a pair of false perculas last week, and they're hosting in my frogspawn.
I plan to get rid of all the other LPS corals (like that large GSP and several small open brain corals) except the frogspawn and turn the tank into an SPS (dominant) reef tank.

Please excuse the crappy quality of my 5 year old digital camera :)

Those two Seio M1500s are being replaced by a Tunze 6100 on a Single Controller tomorrow.
The closed loop is kind of weak with just a Panworld 50pxx pump with an OM squirt. The sump return pump is a Quiet One 3000 with about 500gph after head loss.
Total water flow with the Tunze will be approximately 4700gph or a llittle more than 30x turnover.

I bought a lot of the stuff (the tank, live rock and original MH setup) from a local reefer who was moving.
He had it set up for almost 2 years.

The livestock and rocks were chilling in a big stock tank for a few weeks with skimmer and water changes.

The tank has been set up as you see it for about 2.5 weeks, but the LR was cycled long ago.

Thanks mg426.
The Tunze pump came the other day, and it's really cool... but maybe a little too powerful.
It's moving all the sand from the corner into a dune in the center of the tank... haha.

A lot has changed in the past four months...
I've added a K2R calcium reactor, AquaController Jr, PhosBan reactor, a second Tunze Stream 6100 with 7095 controller replacing the 7091.
I've also rewired the middle four t5 bulbs to be run from an IceCap 660.
Doors will finally be completed after the semester is over!
