what is the best way to put a sand bed in a currently established tank with out causing big problems to the current corals and fish as well as the time it takes to clear the water from all the cloudiness

Use wet sand. What I mean by that is soak the sand in buckets for a hours first. Rinse it really well, getting all the smaller particles out. Then take a baggy full at a time to the bottom of the tank and dump it. Dumping it will not be as easy as it sounds but this method will produce very little cloudiness and you can controll where the sand goes...

I have also used a 3" PVC pipe but the water was pretty cloudy when I was done.
