what is the cause for red algae growing on the gravel ever 2 days or so i use ro water help

High phosphate levels can cause microalgae.

It comes from the food you feed.

How long has your tank been set up ?

I agree that nutrient control is one approach to deal with this sort of problem. We probably need some details on the tank: feeding, occupants, parameters, as well as how long it's been set up.
