That tank is so cool havent read all yet but will. but made me wonder if only million dollar tanks make it . I know most of us have more humble tanks that really keep the hobby going. the million modest tanks , not million dollar tanks . Just my 2 cents .

Mainly because tanks that drain the bank acount look the best most of the time. . There are some smaller tanks that look great but who doesn't like seeing a large reef tank like that?

You got to hand it to that guy though. Just the electric bill for probably 3-4K watts of electricity in germany has to be OUTRAGEOUS. That is an amazing tank. I don't think I have seen a TOTM yet that has his attention to detail. Not only is the tank awsome but the layout in the wall is killer. EVERYTHING he has seems to be PERFECT. This guy has to spend A LOT of time on this tank and I feel that it is a WELL deserved TOTM. Cheers

I agree... the TOTM's are really useful in giving the rest of us something to strive for. Im always amazed at the amount of equipment these guys have.... definitely big bank roll stuff. I love seeing the "behind the scenes looks" at how they put it all together. Its like reef guy porn! and the TOTM is the centerfold!

It's an awesome tank. But anything of that magnitude will be. If 870gal tanks were the norm then it'd be easier to compare. But our 90s, 125s, and 180s, won't compare to something that large. It's just easier when funding and space is easier and in larger amounts. Still gotta give him a thumbs up. It's an awesome display.
