Is It Common For Wrasses To Hide For A Long Time?

Ai havent seen my candy wrasse all day. is it common for them to hide in the rock work for a long time?

lol i had 2 different leapoard wrasses hide on me for a week then just popped out.

I just bought my fairy wrasse yesterday, he was out for 2-3hours when i put him in. but i haven't seen him since.i hope he is ok =(
