Hello. I recently bought an old Aquanetics chiller. It chills the water, but I noticed that the fans suck air through the radiator-type fins. Is this normal? I thought it would blow air through it?

I'm not familiar with the chiller you have, but I assume they all work pretty similair. I have a JBJ and it does exactly what you said. It sucks air from the front and pushes it out from the back. Is the chiller working? If so, I wouldn't sweat it.

Most larger house AC systems use a sucking fan as well. Not uncommon.

I have an Aquanetics Chiller 13 yrs old. It sucks the air through the radiator. Most refrigeration units do it this way and is normal.

Thank you folks. You've ease my mind. Of course now my planned venting system has to change.

In-line fan will get the air moving in that duct. Link (http://www.suncourt.com/inductor.html)
