I have a 16 bowfront--bought a canopy used--already regretting it, isn't fully working yet. In any case, your light will be perfect. That amount of wattage should be perfect for a 15 (my half broke thing has one 40 watt 1/2 and 1/2, and the corals are standing at attention). So twice that would be great, and I'm shooting for 80w 1/2 1/2 over my tank. good choice.

I have a 15 gallon high. Its 20" long, same demensions as a 10 just taller. It was a eclispe tank but I scraped everything except the tank. I 'm running the 96 watt coralife powerquard. Its a good light for anything except SPS. I like PC lighting because it doesn't raise temps that much. I have around 20 lbs of LR, mostly fiji, and some base rock. Right now I have four corals, but plan on adding a bunch more. There is no livestock except the clean up crew, but I plan on adding a watchman goby and pistol shrimp pair and maybe a pair of clowns. For protein skimming, I'm kinda stuck, but I'm thinking a used Aqua C remora so if I ugrade the newer tank could handle it. Im also taking an older emperor power filter and converting it into a refugiam.
