Ok I will be recieving my skimmer sometime next week a ASM G-6

so now I need to get some info on lighting

tank
96x30x25

I will be getting back into SPS after tank has matured.

from all my other tanks that I used to have I have

2x400w 6500k ballast PFO

1x400w 10k PFO

1x175w 10k not sure what type

ice cap 660

Would use this lighting or would you go with a new retro-fit
with a different bulb? I see alot of vendors on ebay and there
systems look pretty nice

6500k were really yellow and had to supplement with actinic from the icecaps

all info would be appreciated

You're only 25" deep? You could do 4 250W 14k bulbs + actinic. Saves on the electricity. Look into the Limenarc reflectors, very good quality and very good light penetration over the generic industrial reflectors.

Have you settled on DE or SE?

I was really thinking about the 4x250 watts. I sure will take you advice and look ino the reflectors. Is there that much of a difference between single end and double end? How much difference are the cost of the bulbs?
