swim bladder disease

Please advise of any succesful treatment. Recent battle with a tank mate for a night hang out has resulted in my yellow tang with what appears to be a swim bladder problem. The fish has had difficulty keeping itself from floating to the surface.

The only treatment I've used involves a hypodermic and trying to draw off some of the air, but this is not an operation I'd undertake unless there was no hope otherwise. Also you have to know precisely what you're aiming at. If you puncture anything else it can be fatal.
