aolt of people have good luck with all types of fish in there tanks with clams. imo it has to do with the size of the tank on what types of fish you might get to work for you. How big is your tank??

some of the other fish you might be able to keep may end getting harassed by the damsel. if you could get rid of him there are other types of wrasses(flashers, ect...) you could get or blennies that type of stuff. good luck

Don't want to sound like the TANG POLICE, but a 90gal is too small for a sailfin tang.
Since your going to be getting a larger tank for your sailfin tang anyway. Get a chevron tang & a powder blue tang. JMO
They are nice fish & should be safe with your clam(s).
Get rid of the damsel.

PB tang will be a BAD idea for a 90 gallon. I think there are far too many fish that CAN go with clams, instead let us know what type of sih you were considering, and we'll comment.

BTW, as prugs said, a sailfin will outgrow a 90.
