I am not sure but I think my Mandarin Dragonets may be going through their spawning rituals. I know the picture quality is terrible but all I had available at the time was my 2.0 mega pixel digital camera. I saw the Mandarins come together and swim with each other vertically in the tank. Then they would break and the female would swim away and come back and then they would swim vertically again. They did this for about 30 mins and then my actinics went off for the night. Tell me what you think.

Yup, that's the spawning "rise". Get some moonlights if you dont' have them, turn off all the pumps and exterior/pherpheral lights when the start doing this, and you may just see a spawn when those actinics turn off and the moonlights kick in :)

There's some an actual vid of a spawn buried in the "Mandarin Spawning Log" thread, as well as a ton of pics (eggs, larval development) and othe vids.
