I just bought an anemone at the LFS. She told me it was a sabae, but when I brought it home it had bubble tips. So I am not sure its a sabae or bubble tip anemone. It looks like a GBT. Any info would help. Thx.

That's a BTA, not a Sebae. I've found that LFS aren't always the most knowledgable when it comes to anemones. Sorry to disappoint!

Heck, thats a beautiful anemone. Did you get it for a sebae price? You got off good if ya did. Good luck with keeping it! You should not be dissapointed, you got a good deal.
BTW, I would keep an eye on it right beside all of those corals. They will sting each other which could end with something dead. Just be careful.

Cool. I should move my finger leather and mushrooms? It doesn't seem to be bothering my leather, but it is bothering my mushrooms. Is $18 a good price on the anemone? Not sure if that is sebae price or BTA price.

$18 is a great price for a BTA... I wish our LFS would mess up like that more often

That anemone is more like a 50 or 60 dollar anemone. What idiots running that store.

wow you guys pay alot for your BTA's the 2 LFS I go to only charge 40 bucks unless thier huge and thats cdn monies.
Yeah, I am with picinc. You guys are paying crazy amounts... you however got that BTA for a very reasonable price.
I wouldn't pay more than 50$ for a BTA, and it would have to be a really nice BTA.
