Anyone use "Caribsea Reef Rock"?

Caribsea has a product that they claim is "dry reef rock", basicly dried coral/ argonite. They sell 50lbs for around $45. I was looking for some rock to use as base rock for my fiji live rock. I was just wondering: since this is just dried out coral, assuming I have lots of life on the rest of my live rock, and corraline algae.... this rock should "liven-up" in no time, right? Will denitrifying bacteria colonize on this? Or is this cheap pet-store rock that wont help with my filtration? Here is a link to it:
