Ladies and Gents. I am putting together my first tank...going with a 120RR Fowlr. I am putting a 30 gal fuge underneath. I recently bought a asm G1x. Rated by the manufacturer for like 150 gallons. After I have been reading more...wondering if I shoud have went bigger...I still have not set it up as I am putting this together rather slow, Should I try and return it and go bigger.....Please adivse

IMO too small.im running an asmg3 on my 120 fowlr tank.if i had more room under the stand i would have got something bigger.my fish are hogs and produce alot of waste.
also..if you have not bought the sump yet.a 40gal breeder tank works perfectly under a 120.

You should be looking at a larger unit, I would suggest a G3 if you are going to stick with an ASM.
