I have some lovely teal green with bright yellow lashes that are being smothered out by some soft pinks that have a very rapid growth rate. I suspect the pinks may be button poylps. How do I seperate the two colonies with out damaging either. They are on a nice peice of fiji that I will trade to someone locally if I can save my teals, otherwise I will take a beating at the lfs just to get them out of my tank. In that case I need to know how to salvage a few of the teal poylps. Have never fragged anything as tight as this. Curt

I would keep them as is. Take an exacto blade or anything that can get under the zoo and try to pry it up. After doing that, just glue them somewhere where there is plenty of room to grow. It might mess up a few zoos, but its ok... ur giving new life.
