Hello!

I just recently noticed a few hitchhikers that I'd never seen before. The system is about 7 months old. I know they're bristle worms, but are these good or bad to have in a reef?

From what I underdstand, most bristle worms are good, but you never know and it doesn't hurt to ask.

Here's a link to a picture I found that looks just like the worms I have in my tank.

Thanks!

I've got tons of those things with no ill effects (yet)

yes I also say good, they stay small and help by keeping the tank clean and free of detritus buildup

Great!!!

That's exactly what I wanted to hear. I've seen three and they only come out at feeding time. They don't even come all the way out, they just reach out from the rocks and grab the food.

Thanks again!
