I have 15 colonies of sps (pocillipora, acro's, and monties) that are all showing signs of brown jelly infection. Actually most of them are more than half covered and dieing. The other half of the corals still have some tissue on them. Am, trites, and trates are all 0. PH runs 7.8 to 8, temp 78 to 80. Any treatment suggestions would be welcome. Tank specs are in my profile.

Sounds like tissue sloughing which = tank wide RTN

Looks like a brown jelly blob peeling off acros?

Thanks for the replies. Cal=450, Alk=2.51, MG=1380. I have been having some problems in my tank for several monthes now. It didn't look quite right. Lost some color on acro's and not good polyp extension on sps. Did water changes and added carbon. The carbon seemed to help but I've been putting in a lot of ot at work so the carbon didn't get changed for several weeks.

Yes it looks like brown jelly blob peeling off all my sps. Anything I can do?

Try an save a few good frags . As a matter of fact if it were me I would be taking them out and chopping them up only keeping good tissue.

Be a while since I heard of a tank wide rtn but when they happen its not nice.

Rinse in some clean tank water after you frag before you soak in Lugols too
