I have two hanging MH fixtures.. both with 10K's.. but everything looks yellowish and I hate it. Can I use one 10K and one 20K? So it will be a 20K MH lamp istead of actinic PC... so you think the colors will blend well or do you think the tank will look goofy..?

thanks

A lot of halide users will mix different Kelvin lamps over larger tanks. With your setup (2 fixtures) you will see a difference between the left and the right side. What wattage and socket type are you fixtures as this will make a difference as well?

Yes you can do this w/o any problem for your livestock. I am currently doing it though I have 10k and 15k bulbs. In my case the 10k is centered with the 15's on each side.

You will notice a variation in color though it won't be a uniform tank color. So one side of your tank will be yellowish and the other bluish. Whether that looks goofy to you is up to your personal tastes.
