I'm trying to work out the final details for a Elos System 80. Jesse has been helping me put together a few specifications for a semi-custom System 80 tank. I wanted to list a few plans of it here to see if anyone can see anything I or Jesse have missed. Suggestions and comments welcome!

Looks great, can't wait to see it. I'm patiently waiting to get a tank myself:spin2: Maybe to top off this awesome system you could upgrade your lighting to a custom painted Planet II (when its available). No dislikes to the Maristar :D , just saying would look awesome hanging over that tank:D
Cheers

The Planet II is pretty neat, but I got a great deal on the Maristar ($400 for everything).
Thanks for the comments.
I hope Jesse can reply to my emails soon, can't wait to get this project started.

Well you can't beat that;)
I know Jesse been really busy lately with the move to the new warehouse. He's a really good guy, he'll pull through.

Kinetic, sounds like an fantastic setup! I'm thinking of asking for a 120xl for my birthday but we will see about that. I've seen the a 120 in person over at Medusa and the quality is top notch.

btw, I'm thinking of getting a taller stand. it's under 3 feet, kind of short no?

The return plumbing size is only 1/2". Does anybody know the reason for this? It seems rather restricting no? The eheim 1262 has a 3/4" outlet. I'm thinking of asking Jesse to have this upped to 3/4" as well.
Also anyone have pictures of this setup? I'm not trying to steal design ideas, but I want to know how it looks.
