Is it ok to have a puffer if you plan to add cleaner shrimps and corals?

Hello, nice to meet sombody from winnipeg!

I have a dog faced puffer. From experience the fish is kind towards other fish. He has never been aggressive towards another fish.great personality.

Although , one day I put in a goniopora(a soft coral, with a hard skeloton it grows on), and he nearly destrotyed it. He would bite it every half an hour, causing it to retract.

My dogface eats nothing but chunks of flake food. They also have big teeth, that just like a gerbil, need to be grided down over time or they can suffer from large teeth and starve to death. Mine bites rocks to keep them "filed"

The fish does not do well with corals.Probably eat every coral inthe tank. Im not sure about shrimp, never had one in my tank. Mine does not bother mushrooms or aptaisia(too bad on those pests)
