I had one shipped from Minnesota to PA in March. I had them put it in one of those Gladware disposable containers, with half water. Then it was put in a box filled with styro peanuts, and wrapped with some insulation.

The box was shipped Fedex next day, and it sat on my stoop for two hours in 65 degrees or so.

The mantis was no worse for the wear. It was a small FL smasher.
