Im going to make myself a corner overflow for my new seahorse tank out of acrylic, but I wanted to paint it black. Once it cures is it alright to but in the tank. There are no horses in it right now
Thanks,
Patrick
i painted my overflow black with krylon fusion which is supposed to be fine in salt water according to everyone on here. about 3 weeks and no problems (i transfered fish and corals over from my old 1 year old tank)

Another vote for fusion, I painted the overflow of my 2.5g with it, 6 months and running strong.
edit: you can get it at walmart too.

Go for the Krylon Fusion. Walmart has it.
I think our Home Depot didn't carry it.

If you just keep it clear, in about two to three months the skimmer box will be covered with Coralline algae growth. So don`t spend your $$$ on pant you don`t need.
Just my two cent....

I went to walmart and got some krylon fusion black and painted it. I let it sit and dry, then I rinsed it in the sink then it got siliconed into the tank.
Thanks
