They're harmless. Which is good, I guess.
have you tried pulling one out of the glass - it's almost impossible! Strong little suckers.

i cant tell from the pic if its a keyhole limpet but it looks like some type of limpet. but it could also be a chilton. any chance of a sharper pic? if not its ok, which ever it is, its not harmful.

looks like a chiton to me. they're good herbivores.

Keyhole limpets are destructive to SPS, so I wouldn't say that they're harmless
