whats your alk at? i'm not sure, but i think i've read where if your alk goes...down i think (might have been up) that your calcium will go up.
To raise your pH....do you have a glass top on th etank, or something thats stopping from ventilation? if you dont have proper gas exchange that will cause your pH to be a little low, and also, if you dont have good surface agitation it will be low. Make sure theres a powerhead is pointing towards the surface so that you have agitation...this also allows for more gas exchange.
So if you've got either a glass top, or a canopy w/no (or few) gaps in it, try taking that off, and then get your surface agitation.....try those before you go out and buy one of those buffers anyways.
also, when i had oceanic salt, my pH was low, but when i switched to instant ocean it brought it up..just another thing to consider...oceanic is too inconsistant to say that they always give low pH tho i guess.

Can you post your levels of Calcium, Alkalinity, Magnesium and PH, the salt brand you are using and the product(s) you use to maintain Calcium and Alkalinity?
That can really help in finding the issue.
