I bought a 4.5" Orange spotted Grouper today, And they had a Purple spotted as well (same size)
Can I keep them together in tha same tank
Anybody? ........Well....That knows PLEEEASSEEEE:rolleyes:

As long as one can't fit the other in its mouth. :)
their both the same size, this is my first Grouper and just want to know if I can keep two of the same size together without trying to kill eachother like surgeon fish tend to

grouper are big big fish, they have big big mouths and are use to controlling big portions of the reef. don't get two.

Its not a good idea to have two groupers.

I keep two in a 100 gallon tank with no problems so far.
The original has had the tank twelve years. 12"
The new guy is in there one year. Started at 2" now 5"
For the most part, they stay in their holes and don't do much.
I made a first video of feeding last night.
