I was at Target the other day and I saw a flashlight , but instead of having a bulb, it had ten LEDs. I know that NASA uses LEDs to grow plants in outer space, so theoretically, Shouldn't you be able to grow a reef with them also? The only thing that I could see as a problem would be the range of color the lights produce. Does anyone know if it is possible to sustain life using LEDs instead of say power compacts?

There is such a product (http://www.solarisled.com/) - but don't look at the price.
