I have some Zoas that I purchased a week or so ago. When I was acclimating I saw these small things on the zoas. They were very small, what seem to be snails. They look similar to a starfish as they have 5 little short knobs on their shells, but have a hard shell like a snail. I plucked them off and threw them out (only 3 or 4). I was checking my zoas this morning and there were a couple of those things again today. I don't see any damage to my zoas, and am wondering if I should pluck those little guys off too. By the way, they aren't sundial snails. They don't have a checkerboard pattern and I have never seen a sundial snail with these little knobs on their shell. Sorry I don't a photo.
