I will be taking a 1 week vacation and I am debating if I should get an automatic feeder or have someone feed my baby porcuppine puffer. The thing is the person can only come by once every other day to feed him. I've been regularly feeding him twice a day. Will the little fella be okay if he's only fed once every other day for the week I'm on vacation or should I get an automatic feeder? Could you guys recommend any good reliable feeders? Thanks!

What foods will the fish take? Generally, fish can do all right if fed every other day. Remember too, that if it gets hot in the room, someone should be checking on the evaporation in your sump if you have one and making sure it doesn't lose too much water.

I've been feeding him frozen foods, primarily silversides, prawn and mysis shrimp. I did instruct the fish sitter to replace any water loss due to water evaporation with RO/DI water I am going to make.
