righ now i have a 4 foot shop light fixture sitting ontop of the tank , 80 watts of light , 40 being acnicti and the other just a white color bulb from lowes.

is this ok , or do i need to get some type of compact,

the 4 foot light isnt pretty but , there are no fish in this tank just xenia and thats all I want this tank for is the purpose of growing this stuff

this is fine for your setup, perhaps a little strange looking but, plenty of light for growth.

k thanks , the xenia looks much beetter now that its not in my stocked 240 , I have a bunch of dirty eating fish in there ,

3 tangs, an eel and two lionfish lol

so the xenia is enjoying the cleaner water ect in the 10
