Im just curious because I checked and it was in the high 300. It was close to 0 from the RO/DI. Is that normal?

my meter wont even measure when i put in salt. TDS is Total Disolved Solids. so since you have disolved salt into the water, yes your TDS will go up. there isnt a set amount of TDS saltwater should have, TDS is just used to test your RO water.

mine errors out...the saltwater is too high

I have 2 TDS meters and the other errors out too.

Its in the thousands :) You are adding a ton of solids to the water in a salt mix.
