I've got an Eheim 1260 that I'm trying to squeeze into a compartment in my new sump. Anyone know how to remove the base/leg plate for the pump. I'd hate to dremel it if I don't have to.
TIA!

I've got a 1250, but I'm assuming it's pretty similar.

As I recall, what you've got to do is to remove the front cover (might as well just disassemble the pump while you're at it). The two leg things are set into runner slots along the corners. They have a little tab that holds them in place. Just bend the tab back (be careful or you'll snap the runner) and they should just slide right out.

That's all I did for my 1250.

Did you also cross post this in the equipment forum? You might get additional responses in there, too.

Good luck and HTH.

No, i didn't cross-post. It looked like it would either slide/snap out of the runner slots, but I never thought there might be tabs involved:) I'll give it a shot, sounds like it'll work. Thanks xchrisjb!
