Sun coral question

Hello! I have a sun coral and have been feeding him without problem for 8 months, it grew and has been very happy until a month ago. It seems he wont open as often as it used to ( i fed him everyday) now he is reluctant to open or will partially open. Im kind of worried. Any ideas?
Its been in the same place all this time.
Hope someone can give me a hand

Have you done anything new to the tank? It could be wanting more shade. my sun coral goes periods of only opening at night time but it passes.

Hi Shanna thanks for your reply
Nothing new, just added a new clam and 2 bottom feeders, But nothing extreme. The rest of the coral seems to be ok, thats why this guy is throwing me off a bit. He used to be do good at opening and me feeding him.
