How long is RO/DI water good for if it is stored in airtight 5 gallon buckets?

with a pump and airstone running in it... maybe a month or so...

what about no pump or airstone? I have tops which have an o-ring seal.

The buckets need to be food grade plastic. The five gallon blue water cooler jugs are really best. I have had water for up to six months in them and still a TDS of zero. A pump and airstone will reduce the water quality as ion stripped water is aggressive and will leach from the air.
