Hello,

I am tinkering with my calcium reactor, and the only way I can get my ph to the 6.2-6.5 range is to have 3-5 bubbles per second. Is this too much CO2 injected?

Is there a trick to keep the co2 down, and the ph as well? Can this be detrimental to my tank to inject this much co2 into the tank?

My specs are: 180 gallon sps, reactor good for 660 gallons (on for 8 hours a day)

As long as you have a controller to keep the tank's pH from being pulled down, the reactor shouldn't cause problems with excessive CO2. You'll also need to monitor calcium and alkalinity levels. I would ignore the bubble rate if the tank's pH, alkalinity, and calcium levels were doing well.
