I've always liked the way sponges look at the LFS. I've always wanted to add a blue ball sponge or the orange stick like sponge. What are the requirements for these and are they possible to keep alive in my tank? Please look at signature for details.

also, do they require for
food
light
flow
placement
etc

thanks

Get some starts on them. Most like the low-light areas, so that's where to put them. They depend on flow, and love phytoplankton. Feed nearly daily and they'll take off like crazy. I have some yellow ball, a little red, a little white, and a lot of blue that looks like veins on a rock. They improve your water quality. The one thing you must not do is expose them to air at any time: air gets into their feeding vessicles and starves and damages them.

how about some pics, and how long have you had them?

how fast do they grow?

Can they eat cyclopeeze?

How do I attach them?

I do not think they are good for the reef tank. JD
