8 months with the Niger and 4 months on the Clown. The clown was 1" when I got him and now he is almost as big as the Huma Huma (not pictured)

I like Triggers

cool how big is your tank. i kept a clown trigger, humu, and niger together for about a year. needless to say the filtration i had wasnt up to the test and the niger and clown were lost.

what size tank do you have them in if you dont mind me asking?

That's a cool looking Niger fish. Why doesn't my Niger fish look that blue? Mine looks more purple than blue. Any ideas?

Clowns become more agressive than nigers? Mine is the other way around right now.

Some nigers do occaisionally end up very aggressive, but often they are not particularly aggressive fish... so usually the clown will be a whole lot meaner.

The main display is a 70 gal gravity feeding a 40 gal. breeder fuge system. After that, it dumps into a large wet/dry with a variety of media. Custom Coralife 220 and 36w of UV and Prime 1/3hp Tower Chiller (bad a$$). More mechanical in a Ehiem 2217 lots of LR and LS and all my levels are rock steady perfect starting w/4 stage RO/DI Storage system.

Small Sailfin Tang and a Tom. Clown and the triggers. A buddy of mine is a large wholesaler and I get young specimen's cheap, have them for awhile and when they get to big for my system, trade up for something new. By the time these guys get big, I should have a 200 main display system in the works.

I used to have a tank service business 15 years ago and I decided to fire up some of my old school gear when it was really expensive hardware wise and fish were relatively cheap, now it's the other way around. It was either fish, or my car addiction (my real job now).
