I just happened to be looking at the right spot at the right time when two little bug eyes were looking back at me from a hole in a rock. I quickly yanked the rock out of the tank, gave it a quick freshwater dip and out dropped a manitis. Not much to show though, about an inch long and white to tan in color.
I'd been hearing the slight clicking sounds for a couple of months, hoping it was a pistol shrimp or even a crab, especially since I usually heard it during the day, not so much at night.
I'm quite relieved to have the thing out.
