I recently bought an ALS 250 calcium reactor. I was disappointed to see that the instruction manual was lost or not included. I have tried to contact ALS, who promised then to email me one. It wasn't sent and subsequently will not return any more email inquiries. Does any one have one that they could share a copy of or can some one confirm the basic set up.
It has three tubing connections, two on the recirc pump suction and one on the top of the media chamber. I am assuming that the one on the top is the effluent back to the sump and one of the pump suction connections is the influent which I intend on tapping into my return line. I suppose that the third is the CO2 connection. Do I need any special tubing for the CO2? What kind of bubble rate to start? How full do you fill or pack the media chamber? I have some ARM to put in it. This is going on a 125 gal reef tank with a mix of about 10 acros and LPS.
Thanks for any help or comments.
