View Full Version : neon toadstool flopped over and elongated

My brand new (just put it in my tank) neon green toadstool leather is elongated and flopped over (almost folded in the middle). It looks bad. The tips of the green are barely sticking out. Is this something I should be worried about or will it stand back up after it has had a chance to be in the tank a while? It has been in about 3.5 hours now.

It's more than likely getting used to it's new surroundings. I would give it a week and see what happens... They can be stubborn sometimes!

my new toadstool (aquacultured) took a day to open and waited for the lights to come on to do so. give him some time.

Yes, give it some time. Mine at night will lay almost completely horizontal. Then when the lights come back on, it will stand straight up again. Strange, huh?
