I have been struggling to keep xenia for a long time as some of you know ,

my success resulted in me finally moving the xenia to its own tank, with nothing in the tank but live rock and 4 snails.

it has since (within one week) split off into 7 different pieces.

Im not sure what kind it is , it has really long branches and is a pinish color

I was intrested in how many types of xenia there are and maybe we can get some different pictures of those types

I have heard of the pom pom xenia and blue xenia

oh , one time I had a local reefer give me some xenia that looked exactly like my pink xenia , only difference was it was a silver color instead of pink

I've noticed you can get alot of variation depending on the light. I've had elongata under very strong halide get more compact and look very yellowish.

I have or have had 4 distinctly different types; elongata, pom pom, giant bali and blue. those are really the only 4 that I know of offhand, but you can have alot of variation in looks depending on the lighting, flow, ect...
