Since getting our RBTA in December 2005, it has always had days when it completely deflated. At first, I was terribly alarmed that it was sick and was going to die. However, later in the evening or the next day, it would re-inflate and all would be well again.
Here's a video of the deflated and pooping RBTA....

Nice vid! Helpful to beginners keeping anemones to show that this is perfectly normal - it is indeed scary the first time you see it!

I just want to mention that when siphoning the mouth of the anemone to be very, VERY gentle so you don't suck out the insides of the anemone.

I feed my GBTA and it always plumps up, I dopn't think I have ever seen any of the three GBTA do that. Started with one now have 3!!!!! Gottal love these things!!
