Just a quick question are the tank ratings on them inflated for marketing or are the they right on, also is it for a heavily stocked tank or lightly stocked?

Tank ratings are ALWAYS exagerated. For damn near everything in the hobby.

I guess I'll have to get a H&S A200 or Deltec 851 for my 240gal, unless someone has a better idea. I talked to the guys a Finsreef and they said the 325gal rating on the H&S with the 2 Aquabee pumps is for a heavy stocked tank, is that the truth or is he just trying to sell the skimmer?

Deltec and H&S don't over-rate their skimmers as much as most places (and Euro-Reef is pretty much dead on). I would have no doubts that the H&S A200-2F2001 would handle a 240-gal. The Deltec 851 would probably also be fine. They are just WAY out of my price range.

If money is an issue, you may want to consider the Octopus NW-200 or Recirc. 200. Heck, you can get two (2) NW-200 for about $400 vs. over $1,100 for the others. There is an Octopus mod thread that describes an impellar mod that makes these skimmers draw air equivalent to the H&S or Deltec (as less than 1/2 the price).

Don't get me wrong, H&S and Deltec are quallity units if you have the cash.
