I was wondering if they make something that monitors the PH, Salt, Calcium and whatever else im supposed to check. Do they make such a thing?

pH and salinity (conductivity) exist. Calcium also exists but is rather unreliable. You can get induvidual probes from a company like PinPoint, or get a whole controller like an Aquacontroller Pro.

Check out this LINK to NEPTUNE SYSTEMS (http://www.neptunesys.com/)
There are a few different models...with various options.....these are monitors/controllers
Or you can just get seperate monitors for each from LINK to PINPOINT's (http://americanmarineusa.com/)

What do you mean "keep an eye" on your tank? Test kits are the most economical over electronic probes, but what exactly are you trying to achieve?

What all am i supposed to test for? What do i need to watch?

there are several electronic kits around (very good ones)...
they'll measure everything from pH/EC/TDS/ORP...etc
depends on how much $$$$ you want to spend....
but I have to go back to Theatrus question..............

http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/2004-05/rhf/index.php

That article lists all the water parameters, and indicates which need testing.

I test pH, alkalinity, and SG every couple of weeks. Calcium and magnesium I test every couple of months.
