I'll soon be constructing my first sump. What thickness of acrylic do I need to use on a sump that will be 20in wide by 26in. long by 15in. high? Thanks

If you go to GARF.org and look under their DIY pages, you will find a calculator that will give you the answer and even more information.

3/8 is better but 1/4 will work if you are adding baffles and bracing.i build all my sumps out of 1/4 and brace it.its alot easier to work with and cheaper.garf site is great.got some good info there when i started out.there is a diy tank description there you may find useful.
