20 gal just getting started

Well 2 weeks ago i purchased my 20 gal, The lighting ins 2 65Watt Power Compacts. Sandbed is about 2-5'' deep in places. Looking foreward to getting some zoos and rics maybe an sps or 2 right next to the lights on top :)

and make sure its completely cycled before you put stuff in it

yea not understanding why the lightings like that, Its probably since my cameraphone got a really crappy lense.....Ill get a better photo up once my regular camera is done recharging :)

Ive let it cycle for about a week and 5 days but it still doesnt have the ammonia/nitrite levels that i would ever be comfortable with adding any livestock so the wait to put things in continues.

the amonia and nitrite should be at 0 before adding stuff. No matter what.

Was the rock cured or uncured?

it was cured....and yea i meant 0 when i said comfortable level..i learned that mistake the hard way when trying to finish the cycle my 75 with a trio of green chromis and losing 1
